the peninsula tokyo hotel

Hooray for buttons! You’ll find them all over The Peninsula, where an oversized bathroom and walk-in closet with make-up-and-hair station flank the short hallway connecting to your bedroom with the sofa and sitting area — just like a two-bedroom apartment. And there’s more: Push a button in the bathroom marked “spa,” and your room phone is now blocked, the lights are turned down, and relaxing music suddenly fills the space so you can soak in your oversized tub. If you just applied a coat of nail polish, there’s even a button in the walk-in closet with a cold-air vent that dries your nails in a flash. Three different levels of mood lighting can be ordered up by pressing a button. And there’s even more: The toilet seat has buttons for the bidet option (with three different angles), a button to wash, a button to dry, and a button to massage. Blackout curtains near the bed come down with the press of, you guessed it, a button.

Confidential Tip: A complimentary chauffeur-driven Rolls Royce or Phantom is available to take any guest within one mile of the hotel, upon availability and request. This service is not advertised, and the hotel staff won’t tell you about it. Request it!
