Monkey Shines

Baleen San Diego at Paradise Point Resort & Spa specializes in monkey business, as indicated by the mascots on the wallpaper and hanging from the chandeliers. However, there’s no monkeying around when it comes to their carefully crafted meals. Make like a primate in the jungle and enjoy al fresco meals on the edge of Mission Bay, even in winter, thanks to large heaters. The chef’s tour of fish and shellfish, in which each course is coupled with a handpicked wine, is a big hit. PS: If you find yourself not that hungry but still eager to sample, Baleen will happily split a plate.
