At Roka Akor restaurant in Scottsdale, sushi-lovers can learn to assemble their favorite signature rolls like a pro. Classes are held the second Sunday of each month from 1–3 p.m., and the $60 per-person fee includes the sushi-making class, food, recipes, and the sake pairing with each dish. Students will learn to roll such dishes as the Butterfish Tataki (seared butterfish, white asparagus, and sour yuzu), as well as the California Maki roll (crab, avocado, and rice).
