Paula Conway
I am the publisher of Conway Confidential, an entrepreneur, author and small business owner. I write about various lifestyle topics including travel, beauty, food and celebrities.

Every day from Tuesday to Sunday, foodies gather at the Little Red School House at 11 a.m. for a one-of-a-kind opportunity to step inside some of Scottsdale’s best restaurants to taste wine and sample delicious food. Along the way, you will discover winding side streets, old saloons, and peerless art galleries. The three-hour tour also includes commentary on “the West’s most Western town” with insider dish known only to locals. Stops include The Rusty Spur, where you’ll sample the juicy South of the Border Burger and participate in a Rusty Spur tradition of writing your name, or anything else you can think of, on a one-dollar bill and tacking it anywhere you want to the wall. At Su Vino Winery, owner Corey Whalin will personally greet you and offer up a tasting. If you’re lucky enough to sample his Red Ruby, you won’t want to leave without buying a bottle. Chili goes a long way at Frank and Lupe’s, where New Mexican food is the theme. Try the stuffed sopaipilla plate, a stuffed sopaipilla with carne adobada, rice, beans, and both red and green chilis. Call for tour reservations.
