Homemade Chocolate Pizza

Take the kids to the Cerreta Candy Company in Glendale for an insider’s look at an authentic working candy factory. Complimentary guided tours weave you through a sea of caramel and cream, while you learn how the candy is made and even get to sample the wares. The tours are held each Monday through Friday at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., and during the summer (May 15 to August 28), each tour is followed with a chocolate pizza-making class for kids of all ages. The $7 admission to the class covers your chocolate pie, toppings, and all the fun you will have making chocolate pizza with the kids. Before you leave, take some Cerreta classics away with you: coated creams, yellow pretzels and meltaways.
