Pay It Forward

ten thousand villages

Everything in the non-profit Ten Thousand Villages, from jewelry to items for the home, is handmade by local artisans in more than 30 developing countries around the globe. Ten Thousand Villages pays the artisans 50 percent when they place an order, and then 50 percent when the items ship. This little gem in Winter Park is part of one of North America’s largest (and one of the world’s oldest) fair trade organizations.
