At one point the Aquarium of the Pacific had to take down its “Do Not Touch The Sharks” sign as the tank prepped for repairs, but now you can get your hands on “Shark Lagoon Nights,” when more than 150 kinder and gentler sharks get the touchy-feely treatment. The big guys — sand tiger, nurse, black tip and white tip sharks — are also on display, but strictly hands-off. Every Friday night from 6-9 PM. This shoreside aquarium is down the street from plenty of shopping and restaurants, so give thought to making a day of it.
