Something For All

Locally known as Sherwood Forest, Waimanalo Bay Beach Park is one of the longest beaches in Honolulu, measuring nearly three miles. Close to downtown, it’s popular with families, thanks to the barbecuing facilities and offshore sandbar, which creates a kid-friendly area of one- to two-foot-deep water. Be sure to scan the water for jellyfish before diving in, though, as this area’s known for them.
