Creative Expansion

Thanks to the accessible and exciting Art School arm of the Austin Museum of Art, it’s no accident so many Austin kids want to grow up and become artists. Classes take place all across town to better serve the community, but the heart of the school’s energy is on the grounds of the lakeside, Italianate Driscoll mansion. Here, kids exercise the right side of their brains and learn to draw, paint dinosaurs, print make, mold pottery, build sculpture, and assemble free forms that blow the mind.
